People interested in permaculture can study the subject in a variety of ways. Perhaps the best way is to attend a one of the permaculture design courses. These courses are generally 11 days in length and result in formal certification as a permaculture designer. The courses are usually held at facilities where the participants camp or are lodged at the site of the course.
In addition to these two week courses, permaculture students who have an interest in short term seminars in such subjects as gardening, ferro cement cisterns, swale digging, straw bale or adobe construction etc. have numerous courses or informal demonstrations to choose from.
